We would like to thank everyone who sent in greeting cards to send to the troops through the wonderful operation called Santa Claus from the CFPSA.  We received hundreds of cards and in addition we are sending the banners that you have signed at Red Friday Rallies. Red Fridays Foundation of Canada has made special arrangements with Operation Santa Claus to send your greeting cards to the soldiers serving in Afghanistan.

All cards must be submitted to Red Fridays by Oct 26, 2007 in order to make it on the flight. Please note that there are some rules to remember when sending a greeting card to Afghanistan. Please do not include any money, cheques or gifts inside the envelope. There is only space available for the greeting card. Do not send cards larger  than 6"x9". Do not send parcels. You may place a return address on the back of the envelope and address the card on the front to as stated below. The cards will be given out at random to the serving men and woman currently in Afghanistan during the holidays. ***Gifts to the Military Family Fund can be donated directly through the CFPSA. Families of serving Men and Woman in the CF can send parcels and greeting cards/ letters free of charge beginning Oct 29th 2008. Canada Post services announced recently with this press release. A list of address for family members to send to are located at the Forces Webiste.

We have created a template card that you can down load. It is a standard size card and fits into a 6x9 envelope.

1.) Download the card by selecting the JPG or PDF format.
2.) Print the card on a 8.5 x 11 card stock paper for your colour inkjet printer.
3.) Trim the card to size by following the red guide line marks.
4.) Fold the card along the fold line.
5.) Write in the inside of the card your personal message.
6.) Place the card in the 6"x9" envelope and close the envelope.
7.) Send the card to the following address.
